‘the spaces we inhabit’

This photobook shows what makes us feel safe. It is an attempt to facilitate the idea that as a wider community, we are all trying to create a life we don’t routinely have to escape from.

Our safe spaces accomodate to this, a place we can confide in to be our most honest and true selves. The idea was built off the foundations of community, connecting, belonging, observation and identity.

For everyone involved there has been a certain level of openness, to be photographed in their safe space.

I hope we all see ourselves within this series.
